Lilli Marmurek
Social Worker
Meet Lilli Marmurek, a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing counselling to parents and families navigating ADHD and behavioural challenges. As a social worker, relationship specialist, and mother of two energetic toddlers, Lilli understands firsthand how demanding parenting can be, especially when attention-regulation challenges, emotional reactivity, and behavioural concerns are part of daily life. In her clinical practice, she frequently works with parents navigating ADHD in their children, whether formally diagnosed or still being explored.
Lilli brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her therapeutic work. She manages her own ADHD symptoms, a perspective that deepens her clinical understanding of how neurodivergence can shape adult functioning, parent-child relationships, and family systems. Alongside her Master of Social Work and registration in Ontario, she has completed advanced training in ADHD-focused clinical interventions and applies a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based lens in psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and parents.
Much of Lilli’s practice involves providing counselling and psychotherapy to caregivers experiencing burnout, chronic stress, overwhelm, and relationship strain connected to parenting high-needs or neurodivergent children. She supports families with emotional-regulation strategies, attachment-informed parenting approaches, executive-function scaffolding, boundary-setting, and communication patterns that reduce power struggles and increase felt safety at home. Her work integrates family systems theory and evidence-based behavioural and relational frameworks, translated into practical interventions that fit real family life.
Beyond her therapy practice, Lilli is a speaker and educator who facilitates psychoeducational workshops for parents and professionals, consults with organizations, and creates widely followed content on ADHD, parenting, relationships, and emotional intelligence through the platform, Konnect Better. Her work spans therapy rooms, family living rooms, and organizational settings, always with the same goal: helping people build insight that leads to lasting relational change.
Lilli completed her Master of Social Work and is a Registered Social Worker in Ontario. She continues advanced professional development in neurodiversity-affirming practice, family systems, attachment, and ADHD-informed psychotherapy to ensure the families she serves receive thoughtful, ethical, and current clinical care.
The vision behind Lilli’s work has always centred on connection. She believes parents should not have to navigate diagnoses, school struggles, behavioural challenges, and family stress alone, and she is deeply committed to walking alongside families as they create steadier, more responsive home environments.
When Lilli is not working, she is often navigating toddler negotiations, practicing the regulation strategies she teaches in session, finding her own reset at the gym or on the baseball diamond, and laughing at the beautiful chaos of family life. She loves spending time with her family, being a trusted part of people’s villages across her personal and professional worlds, and reminding parents that progress matters far more than perfection.
