Who we are

We are a team of education experts who are passionate about empowering families with the knowledge they need to ensure their children have the best possible journey in school.

Meet Rebecca Greaves

Rebecca has over 15 years of experience working in Ontario's Public Education as a School Administrator, Special Education Resource Teacher, Transition Lead, and Classroom Teacher. She grew up in Toronto, in the area of York South-Weston, and went on to obtain her BA at York University and BEd at the University of Toronto. She deeply understands that in order for a child to experience success in school they must first feel a sense of belonging, and that can only exist when school staff embrace the whole child.

Rebecca has extensive experience supporting families in navigating the school system and uses a team approach with school staff, physicians, support workers, etc. to develop cohesive plans that best support a child’s educational and social-emotional profile. She has reviewed countless psycho-educational assessments, created and implemented Individual Education Plans (IEPs), led school team meetings, and supported classroom teachers in how to support various learner profiles. Over the years, she has led workshops on differentiated teaching practices and assessment, led professional development for educators and collaborated on the creation of curriculum documents to assist Special Education staff in IEP creation. As a Transition Lead, she developed customized plans for students to ensure the transition from elementary to secondary school was as smooth as possible and the supports needed were in place from the very start.

Though always an educator at heart, it was Rebecca’s passion for working directly with families that led her to become an Educational Consultant. She believes all children benefit from having strong advocates in their life and is honoured to help families feel empowered to be the advocate their child needs.

As an Educational Consultant, Rebecca provides support and guidance to families who are looking to understand their options in the school system, parents who are seeking to better understand their child's learning profile and parents of children receiving special education programming.

She is a mother, triathlete, community activist, and world traveler. On most days, you can find her spending time with family, being physically active and cooking up delicious food in her kitchen.

Our goal is to help families feel empowered in navigating the education system and ensure their children experience success at school.
